My avatar photo is a feather cake.  Covered in strips of rice paper.. real cake inside too.

prettycake, both cakes are incredible!

May I ask what the white scroll work on the blue cake is made of?......some of it looks piped, but I’m not sure about the flatter design.

The flat one was made with a stencil.. The scroll was piped.. Round tip #2.. They are both Lemon buttercream.

Thank U….  To me the more tedious the better .  I can spend 8 hours in the kitchen straight w/out breaks..  once I start,  I just do not want to stop..  thank God this is purely hobby for me.  I get to do them when I want to..

Wow! I would have to call the blue one “Fantabulous!!!” and the totally awesome feather one reminds me of a fancy-dress ball head-dress, pure “glam.” I don’t know where I ge off naming your creations, but the devil lade me do it red face
