CT, you are so funny! At the same time, I sort of agree that it has a kind of “abyss” quality about it. Like the flower is sort of animated and might suck you down into it.
Personally, if I had the Heritage pan, I’d never use another one!!!! That said, I have the Fleur de Lys, but if I had the Heritage, I’d kick the Fleur de Lys to the curb.

I have the Heritage and it is très elegant. The last one I took to a gathering, I claimed to have carved the cake by hand and everyone was very impressed! One of its key virtues is that it doesn’t look like a Bundt cake, which is good, because Bundt cakes in general strike me as unappealing.

I really like the Heritage pan too but I keep bringing the same shaped pan to the same people.
I also like the holiday wreath and the elegant heart.
And what about the pan with the Christmas trees? Cool at Christmas with confectioner’s sugar sprinkled on it.
Do you think its use would be limited to a function for children?
By no means! I think it will awaken the child in just about anyone. People will smile when they see it. I’m sure I’ll buy this pan at some point, but I don’t do many Bundt cakes. Piping is way too much trouble for my tastes; I’d explore how much various glazes would obscure the details of the castle. I was also wondering about filling up the interior with frosting and providing fondue forks.

That’s a cool idea! Something like melted chocolate fondue?
I think glazes would obscure the detail too.
Have you seen how some Amazon customers have decorated their castle? It has excellent reviews and it is on sale for $23 today. They are using brown sugar around the cake to replicate sand.
I think you could put any kind of cake in there, if you take bees in the purely decorative sense. Its little “honeycombs” would hold icings nicely, too—and it woudln’t matter if you lose the design, because it would remain a nice geometric pattern. You could even use multiple icings on the same cake (if you wanted to), because it would hold them. Or you could put curd in some!!!
