I just made the English Muffins in the Bread Bible and oh my they are delectable!!!  I did substitute 1/2 cup whole wheat flour for 1/2 cup of the bread flour and that added just the flavor that I like.  I also let the shaped muffins sit for 8 hours in the fridge.  I think next time I may add cinnamon and raisins to the mix.

Sounds great. What did you use to shape them?

I just used a round biscuit cutter to shape.  Hmmmm… I have a heart shaped cookie cutter, maybe for next time English muffin hearts?  I promise to post a picture next time.  Those bad boys are gone!!!  I took some to my 90 year old next door neighbor and my family gobbled down the rest.

One more thing… since the WW flour is more thirsty, I had to keep adding water bit by bit to the final mix until it “felt right”.

Hmmmm, heart shaped muffins sound great!

I ask you because my sister-in-law just made english muffins and she used a tuna can.

I would love to see the pictures.
