So i am at work and the owner tells me about this big donation we are doing for this event later that night. It was a benefit for an art museum here in Pittsburgh. He wanted to do something over the top for this event.
When he told me what i had to do and how many i looked at him like he was crazy. He told me to take 250 mini cupcakes, spit them all in half, fill them with butter cream and sandwich them back together. Then i put them in the walk in freezer for about an hour until the cake and butter cream were rock hard. I took a bag of lollipop sticks and my hoodie into the freezer and started sticking. once i had them frozen and on sticks, I dipped it completely into white choc and we just dipped the tops in sparkling sanding sugar. The end result was worth all of it though. It ended up being a big hit at the event.
