sheet cake dilema

Hi
I am trying to make a half sheet cake but I am unsure on the size. Some say 11 X 15, others say 12 x18. Could you please let me know? Also, how many cake mixes will I need to make a double layer half sheet cake?

Can’t help with the cake mix question. Most of the bakers on this sight bake from scratch. You might want to read this thread:
