For the pumpkin cake in Heavenly Cakes (pg. 125) , it calls for two 5.5 cup pumpkin pans or 10 cup tube pan.. Question :  Has anyone tried, or know how, using two layer pans,  such as 8 or 9 inch x 1.5 would turn out ?  Could see this as a nice layer cake with the Orange Buttercream…  Thanks
