I have been using the large wedding size recipe for 1/2 sheet cakes ( for the 2 / 12 x 2 ), yellow, white and chocolate butter. I use Fad Daddio’s pans so they do take a little bit more batter,17 cups and they make 15 for those pans. Today I was looking through the wedding cake recipes in the Heavenly Cakes book and saw a blurb on adjusting the baking powder for that size pan with those recipes. It never occurred to me that I need to do that for those in the Cake Bible; that I should probably be making enough for a 14 inch cake. Is that a correct assumption?
