I’ve been craving chocolate cake for a week. I don’t bake very often now so every now and then I crave cake and it’s always chocolate cake hehe. I had to resort to buying a brownie from the cafetaria at some point so when the weekend arrived I thought I should just bake! So I made 1/2 recipe of Genoise Au Chocolat from TCB (baked in 7 inch round pan), frosted with leftover Midnight Ganache from RHC that I have in the freezer. I also topped it with grand marnier soaked cherries. The cherries was only soak for a few hours, so not enough time but it tasted good anyway.
Was the brownie from the cafeteria made by Starbucks ? Just kidding:-) your genoise look very nice and fabulous. I’m sure they taste great.
