One more stupid question, I only have one 12 inch pan. Is it ok to bake one and let the other half of batter sit out while other half is baking ?
I missed this earlier, SN, but with that recipe you may notice a slight variation between the two cakes—but you probably have baked already. When I’ve done two pans of cupcakes with that batter, the first filled cupcakes are noticeably higher than the cupcakes filled at the end. Not sure how this will affect your results if you have the batter sit then repour.
If you already baked your cakes…did you notice any difference between first and last?
