Matty, I’m so happy for you! Baking skills can give so much joy- to yourself, to others.
My father was visiting last month and learning to make pie crust was his only request. We made crusts side-by-side, and they both turned out fabulous. While working we talked often of the pies his mother used to make, and felt a deep connection through four generations (his mother, him, me and my daughter, who happily made cookies from the scraps). I was so happy to be able to share that with him, and I have Rose to thank!
