Haven’t been around in a while—haven’t been baking much. Super busy at work!!!!
Over the weekend, I did make some macarons for a friend’s birthday, and I filled them with the sticky caramel and ganache from Rose’s mud turtle cupcakes in RHC. The only change I made was to add 1t. salt to the cream for the caramel. Seems like a lot for that little caramel, but it wasn’t (with all that other sweetness going on).
I haven’t had one yet, but I expect it will taste a bit like a non-chemical Twix bar! I’ll know tomorrow!
