Substitution:Sugar in the raw

I’m making the basic apple pie - and after peeling my apples found no granulated sugar but sugar in the raw! Can I substitute that for granulated in a pie?help!

Shouldn’t be a problem, might even taste better.  The best way to substitute would be by weight.  If you don’t use a scale, then be aware that the larger granules won’t necessarily measure the same as a finer sugar, so you may need to sweeten to taste.
