Hey there . Im planning to make the golden lemon almond cake from RHC in loaves. However i can’t seem to source turbinado sugar . Can only find demerera. Will that work? Or should i keep hunting?

I made this cake and used Demerara sugar as I couldn’t source turbinardo sugar here in the UK.  It turned out fine, in fact it was made for my Golden wedding.

Agree with Jeannette and CRenee, demerara is nearly identical to turbinado.  Yum!
