I have not. Can u turn the pan upside down as soon as it comes out of the oven when baked in a spring form pan ? I think it can be done w/ the aid of two things holding the pan on the sides. But as to the baking part of it, it probably requires that opening at the center to bake evenly. Try it. But I have done large cupcakes.
I have heard of people baking angel food in layer pans. I don’t know if they make adjustments or not. Rose does a chiffon in a springform pan and uses an inverted flower nail in it and cools it upsidedown. I don’t know if the same approach would work for angel food.
