I made some Crab and four cheeses homemade raviolis today while watching the NFL playoff (YAY!  SF 49’ers WON ! YAY).
Photos of b4 and after cooking.. they came out great.  I just discovered that the real reason homemade pasta is very tough and rubbery is because it is not rolled out thin enough. These came out perfect.  I used cake flour and AP flour w/ olive oil 4egg yolks, water & a little salt. I rolled this out as thin as tissue paper. I do not have a pasta machine therefore I had to use a rolling pin, w/c is good work out for my arms.  My family loved it.

It sounds great prettycake.

I’ve made fettuccini but haven’t for a long time.

I frequently make stuffed shells but I buy the pasta shell and fill it.

Those look fabulous, prettycake.  I haven’t made pasta in awhile and it’s not that hard and oh so good.  If you are just getting into pasta making, I really like Lidia Matticchio Bastianich’s cookbooks ... and watching her on TV.  Most recipes of hers are very good.

Thank u Sherrie,
I used to watch her shows. I like her recipes. I have been wanting to learn making pasta, but the ones i made months ago did not turn out good (to me). But since i got it right this time, I am so inspired to make a lot of them now.

Thank u smile
