High there, recently bought the Cake Bible, and am looking forward to attempting my first recipe from the collection. I have a question though, and hope some one can assist me. I am looking to try the 3-Tier White Butter Wedding cake recipe, but looking for some assistance converting the recipe to fit two 11x15x2 pans, as Im looking to make a two-layer cake with it. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Joey S.

If my math is correct, the conversion for what I’m looking to accomplish would be x 1.459…  So would I be okay if I round up to 1.46 or even better, 1.50?  Thanks in advance.

JOEY S:
Good afternoon. Welcome to our baking forum. Joey this is my reply 1.5 conversion in lieu of 1.46 constant is really a “NON EVENT” due to the fact there is going to be some waste involved. Some will stick to your beaters & some will fall on the floor & some more will stay on your spatula’s. Sooo, go for it!!!

Good luck in your bake Joey, & keep us posted of your accomplishments.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend Joey.

Cake is simply delicious, and moist!  Paired it with the Classic Buttercream recipe, with the lemon variation and its just terrific.  Worth the price of the book itself.  Thanks again for the help FreshKid.
