Hi everyone!!  As a peanut butter lover, I just wanted to ask if anyone has a killer pb cookie recipe that takes less than 5 ingredients?  I use one that calls for pb, egg, baking soda and brown sugar, but just curious if anyone has other recipes they like??

Here’s a super easy one using Bisquick. I cannot say it is THE best PB cookie I have ever eaten (I am a fanatic), but it’s quick, easy and will definitely fill the bill when that PB cookie craving hits! And not less than 5 ingredients, but I normally have all this stuff on hand.

  1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar (granulated or packed light brown sugar)
  1/4 cup shortening
  1/2 cup boiling water
  2 cups Bisquick

Instructions:

Heat the oven to 400 F.
Blend peanut butter, sugar, shortening, and water with an electric hand-held mixer until smooth. Stir in Bisquick.
Drop small teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased or parchment-lined baking sheets.
Press with a fork which has been dipped in a little dry Bisquick or flour.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Makes about 4 to 5 dozen peanut butter cookies.
