Patrincia, thanks so much for the kind words!  I haven’t really been keeping these pics to myself so much as waiting to fill up film and get it developed!  I like my old-fashioned 35mm camera and haven’t yet gone digital.  Also, I don’t always remember to take pictures, especially if I’m bringing a cake or pie to someone else’s house.  It is more the family cakes that get photographed.  So, you’re right, it can take a while for me to post a picture.  Somewhere on my to-do list is to join the digital age and get a new camera, but I just haven’t gotten to it yet.

Very much looking forward to seeing your next project, anyone you know getting married soon?

Julie, these are all fantastic. Your brioche ‘muffin style” look so good that you have inspired me to have a go at brioche for the first time!

It’s wonderful your children are involved too - isn’t it great that we can pass on a love of baking and making things from scratch to a whole new generation!

I know that feeling… I can’t tell you how many cake photo opportunities I’ve missed over the years - it pains me to think about them wink.

As for upcoming weddings… my baby sister has asked me to make her cake in the spring.  I’ll keep you all posted.
