Hello all. It has been a while.

I want to make my fondant look like denim.

I really don’t know where to start. Airbrush, what tone of blue do I start with?

Any suggestions would be great.

an airbrush will help you layer the color -  you might end up starting with blue, then waving a little white in the general direction of it (you don’t want to overspray the blue with white, it seems like you’d need a little white to show, plus some black.  For texture, sometimes I roll out fondant on a silpat - it picks up the cross hatching effect a little bit (looks like grasscloth to me, though).  I like to mix my own colors for airbrushing so you might want to experiment to see what works for you.
