Oh dear, I didn’t see this until National Pie Day was already over! My husband is very disappointed.

I have some pie / tart pictures and recipes over on my blog. Here’s a link that shows all the “pie & tart” recipes:

You’ll notice a lot of them are labeled “TWD”—that’s “Tuesdays with Dorie,” an on-line baking group I belong to. Maybe once Rose’s new book comes out, we could start a “Heavenly Cakes” group!

I’m particularly proud of the Meyer Lemon Shaker Tart, which is my own invention (with a lot of help from Rose’s Pie and Pastry Bible).
