does anyone have a favorite recipe / formula database that they absolutely LOVE.. looking for suggestions/recommendations.

I dont have any recommendations for you, but I am also looking for such a thing. Also, if anyone knows of some sort of database that will send you actual say recipe cards that are laminated let me know!! (All my recipes get really dirty from the ingredients lol)

Hi Ski - I put all my recipes (whether they are printed on cards, from the newspaper, or printed from online sources) in a recipe album with clear covers.  You can accomplish the same thing using a photo album.  My book is organized by categories, and I’ve even added clear sleeve sheet protectors for full page recipes.

cooking light, and joy of cooking had one, a while back.. was wondering if there were something new. I need something to get my recipe box, out of a box,and onto a cd..
I use recipe card spiral bound for my recipes that I u se at work.. and I keep them in a recipe card box, minus the lid..
I need a permanent file though, as my old one got sucked up in an old computer.

I’ve used the Living Cookbook application for several years now and I really like it.  It’s fairly inexpensive ($35) and has a lot of features.
