I just cannot seem to locate the thread where everyone was talking about mousseline and someone gave the exact temp that the sugar syrup should be when poured into the bowl…  There seem to have been a lot of mousseline threads lately…    Can someone help, please?

I just hope that I’m able to locate the recipe, too, since I’m not finding that tonight either! I’m having (yet another) Bad Computer Day.  *sigh*

Vicci, if you are looking for the Mousseline recipe online, I don’t think it is posted anywhere. You’ll have to get if from The Cake Bible.

Thank you so much Rozanne!  Sometimes, for no reason, I have an awful time with a website’s “search” function… 

And I meant that I’m looking for the mousseline recipe in my own files (both in the computer and also in stacks of notebooks—I need to organize myself).  Since I don’t bake but a half-dozen cakes a year, I borrowed a friend’s Cake Bible to copy five or six recipes, then she moved away.
