I’m getting an error message that states I’ve surpassed my PM limit for a 24 hour period, so here’s my answer to your last question:
I haven’t syrupped Rose’s butter cake. If properly baked, they are plenty moist on their own. One day I’ll try it with a cake for the family. I do know that the syrup doesn’t travel down through an entire 2” layer, so it’s best to tort (cut) the layers in half… I remember that discussion from the blog a long time ago.
