Would you call a weekend meal at 9:30 in the morning breakfast or brunch?

I’d call it breakfast.  I’d call a meal around 10:30 brunch.

Ditto, breakfast!  I think of Brunch as sort of an 11am-1pm start time and including foods that are not really breakfast, like green salad.

That would be EARLY breakfast for me. Brunch starts after 1:00pm. LOL

Thanks everyone, that’s exactly what I say too.  I won’t give my boss the results of my little poll, but I’m happy to find I’m not the only one who thinks a meal at 9:30 in the morning is breakfast!  In my mind, brunch doesn’t start until 10:30 at the very earliest.

I say breakfast too. But then, I have a strange schedule. I work evenings and normally go to sleep around 2 AM. I wouldn’t even be awake for breakfast or brunch at 9:30 AM!

Voting breakfast here.  The diner would have to rise at about 4 a.m. to consider it brunch…LOL.

I consider anything served before 10:59 a.m. breakfast.

11:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Saturday or Sunday = brunch.

11:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. M-F = Ooooops I forgot to have breakfast and I can’t wait till lunch.
